So I headed down to Cabo last Friday to get a little warmth since we had NO summer in Seattle this year. That's the catch phrase of the fall this year, "yeah, we had no summer this year". It's totally true. So I decided to take a week and get some of that warmth that we missed. I'm staying in the Tourist Corridor. I know it sounds totally terrible but it is actually pretty darn great. Will tell more about everything as the week progresses, but so far the Hilton is amazing and not quite as expensive as everyone has said. OK, it's not cheap but with most of my time spent by the pool, I'm doing ok. Oh also have spent some time at the swip up bar and today had a sea salt scrub. Wonderful. Now I'm sitting on my balcony in the warm Mexican air, finishing up the evening with a bottle of water. But, the great thing about the Hilton. they filter their water and the water for their ice so hopefully no chance fo Delhi belly, well the Mexican equivalent of. Off to San Jose del Cabo tomorrow and then Cabo on Wednesday. The rest of the time just hanging by the pool. Some pics for those of you in cooler weather. Promise II'll post lots of what I recommend, but later, now it's relax, relax, relax.
Flank steak tacos at the poolside restaurant
And the accompaniments for the tacos
I did a lot of research before choosing the Hilton here and boy am I glad I did. It is fantastico!! Especially, Arturo, by the pool, Ricardo at the swim up bar, and Adrian at the poolside restaurant - magnifico!!
